so today i gave blood for the HIV test. once that comes back good i'll be getting my smallpox in mid march. woo hoo...yeah my ass, thats gonna suck a fat one. today one dude had a strong flow cuz his blood squirted, hahaha. so gross. it was fun chillen and talkin to people waiting in line.
yesterday rosa and i went skating. mind you it rained earlier so the ground was damp. damp ground=damp shoes. damp shoes=less grip. well on like my second try at the box i had a mix of things go wrong. first i didn't pop the board hard enough. i can normally still get the front truck high enough. well yesterday my shoes were damp so that didn't happen. the front truck hit the box and caught my foot. i slammed onto the box on my side and rolled off onto my knees. my right shin now has more cuts and scratches below the knee. my left shin has a big welt and like a blood build up blister thing right below the skin. kinda hurts. then today we had PT at 0530. we ran from the barracks around passed the px through the chapel to the Habu Trail. we took that down onto the pft course to the turn around point and take the same route back. its like 3.5-4 miles. it was an at your own pace run. it was cool because i was in charge of warm ups and stretching. cooool. once we started to run it was sgt, allmon, rosa, me, morris, oldani. i was shocked because soon i was in the front and finished about 3 minutes before sgt, 4 before allmon and rosa and oldani and morris like 15-20 minutes probably. allmon and rosa could not have been trying too hard though because we have been together since air schools and i have never finished close to them let alone beat them. my legs are pretty sore now though. tonight i might be going to the gym with wiley, not sure yet.

my sgt did my monthly counseling with me. the sheet said "Lcpl Brown is an obedient Marine who works hard and shows extraordinary skills in his superior duties. Lcpl Brown is a highly motivated and squared away Marine." how about that shit. at least the hard work i do is noticed. sgt watson said that i'm a hard worker and i don't show any disrespect toward the higher ranks and do as i'm told which is always good. also said he knows that the ATRIMS work i do i've done it re-done it then re-done it again and i work hard to unscrew it every time something goes wrong. coool.
