sgtmaj went through rooms this morning with the CO and i gues a lot of them were trashed, including two NCO's so now every night this week we have field day and sgtmaj is coming through with nco's to check rooms every morning at 5:30. so we have to be dressed in full uniform waiting outside our hatch at 0530. fuck dude. of the list read my room wasn't hit at all so this field day stuff shouldn't be too bad. we keep it clean anyway so when the normal field day comes all we have to do is like vacuum and dust and thats about it.

man thats one thing that really pisses me off. in bootcamp and mct when they checked our rifles if they had dirt or carbon from being fired on them the person checking would wipe it on you. well today my gunny was checking my room and there really was only like one spot of dudt he found that i didn't even think to check and i'll tell ya, to stand there while someone wipes dust and shit on your shirt....man it really gets under skin. i don't think he did it to be mean but man...it kinda pissed me off. over all though that was the only thing he found wrong with my room. now its off to bed since sgtmaj is comming through tomorrow at 0530. |

woke up at 4:50 to shave, shower, and get dressed before sgtmaj came through. sure enough right at 5:30 him and gysgt rhodes, both former drill instructors, come up and down second and third deck with the marines doing morning cleanup banging on doors shouting reveille. it was gay, all he did was have an nco check your room and if they said it was okay you could go to morning chow and then be to work whenever you were told. now i'm waiting for my gysgt to check my room again this morning before i go to work. we still have the whole rest of the week to clean. including friday night. thursday night is the normal day so we have common areas to do then as well.
