other than all that good stuff nothing too fun and exciting has been going on. at my game 2 weeks ago i had a concussion. my teammate was coming up the right side of the rink and i was coming up the center. he cut toward the center so i cut to the left. as i turned i slammed into a kid on the other team. he saw me a second before we hit and put his arms up hitting my cage into the left side of my chin busting it open. the right side of the cage hit my collar bone cutting that open. i kind of flipped back and rotated to the side. my shoulder hit a split second before my head hit the ground. mind you we were both going full speed. once my head hit my helmet stayed on its side while my head rotated to the right. the strain on my head hurt my jaw for like two days. the people that came to my game said they laughed when i hit the kid then stopped when i hit the ground because of how hard i hit my head. they said they thought i broke my neck because i didn't budge for about 10 seconds after i hit the ground. the only thing that moved was my chest from me breathing. when i hit the kid a saw him right before we hit then i saw bright white then i felt my head hit the ground. i remember laying there thinking come on walter get up but couldn't. they stopped game play and the ref came over on one knee and asked if i was okay. so did the kid who hit me. i slowly got on my hands and knees with my head down. they both kept asking if i was okay. i said yeah i just need a minute. once i stood upright i was facing a total different direction. everything was spinning like when you spin in a circle a few times. i felt like i was gonna throw up i couldn't breathe well. i also felt like i was gonna pass out. i skated around a little then went and took the face off. as i was screening the goalie a shot hit me in my girdle pads. it didn't hurt but i figured it was time to hit the bench. after my game i felt even worse so i sat in my car for a while before driving home. my school is good. my test average for the 6 we took was a 95%. good stuff.
